Tales and Legends By Debbie Carver Sing Songs Woman
« on: February 27, 2014, 08:16:21 PM »
The hills that roll, the mountains that stand,
The rivers that run, the streams God mad for man,
All the greens and blues for the eyes to behold,
Are the beginnings of all tales and stories ever told.
Eagles that soar is where legends come from,
Where bear and lions and buffalo roam.
Mustangs are running wild and free,
Their mane and tales blowing in the breeze.
Shadows on the mountains as night time falls,
The lonesome howl of wolf for his mate he calls.
The moon rises so big and bright,
The stars glow in the sky with a luminous light.
The sun comes up in a breaking new dawn,
Gentle as a doe nursing her fawn.
The colors are radiant in their wondrous hue.
The leaves glisten of the morning dew.
The rabbits on the mountain come out to play
As all God's creatures meet the new day.
Life was so simple for those back then,
As tales and legends remember when.
