4 cups cooked or canned beans, pureed
2 cups stewed tomatoes, fresh or canned
1 Bay Leaf
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
2 tablespoon chili sauce
1 cup sliced carrots
1 cup sliced celery
1/2 cup onions
1 cup sliced potatoes
2 quarts of water
2 teaspoons salt
Combine beans, tomatoes, bay leaf, parsley, and chili sauce.
Cook remaining vegetables until just tender.
Combine bean-tomato mixture, vegetables, water and salt.
Simmer 2 hours
Serve hot.
Make about 8 servings
