This will serve only 2-3 people, Always double this reciepe if you have more people so there is nice portions for all.
1 pound of minced ground beef
3/4 cup chopped celery
3 Tablespoons instant minced onion flakes
1 1/4 cups water
1/2 cup uncooked converted rice
1/2 cup teaspoon salt
2 cans (10 3/4) condensed chicken with rice soup (Campbell Soup Preferred)
1 Can (4 ounces) mushroom stems and pieces (Drained)
2 Tablespoons of Brown Sugar
2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
1 teaspoon of real butter or margarine
Cook in a 10-12 inch skillet or fry pan, and stir minced ground beef with your onion flakes and celery until beef is browned. Drain well.
Pour into a un-greased 2 quart casserole baking dish. Cook un-covered until rice is tender and soft and liquid is absorbed. About 30-60 minutes depending on what kind of rice is used.
