Politics in the current times
« on: August 09, 2024, 09:19:23 PM »
As is well-known Rednation stands away from politics as it is ever a divisive subject yet in this most interesting year, we are watching in fascination events arousing the interest of the world in the US.

Do we have a political opinion, of course we do. Are we going to share and try and change your political opinion. NO

However what we are going to say as people of spirit, connected to the paths of the ancestors, that people need to be aware.

1.   Never be afraid to check the information you are being told, in these modern times, anything you see on tv (some channels are… less honest then others) can be checked. Quotes etc can be looked up, statistics claimed can be checked and I can assure you, anything a candidate has ever said is still online somewhere no matter how much they deny it.

2.   When we decide to step forth and vote, we need to ask ourselves why we are looking at a certain person to represent us. Will they genuinely stand for what we want? What we believe? What we dream of? Does their history show them standing for these issues, do they believe what I believe? These are all questions only you can decide, BUT if any one of them bothers you when you find the answers then perhaps you may need to reconsider because honestly, you need be true to yourself and your beliefs because by choosing a candidate whom does not meet your moral standards are you not surrendering yourself to a lower standard?

3.   Ask questions, not soft weak questions but questions that are hard. If your chosen squirms, well maybe they are not who you thought but if they are open, even if they tell you of potential problems, well maybe they are who you need.

4.   Listen to others opinions, question them, ask them why they think candidate X is better or worse, but do not shut them out. Saying that if they leave you feeling uncomfortable it’s a possible indication, they are not truly certain of what they are telling you.

5.   Do not rely on one single news or information source.

6.   Most importantly, would you be happy for the man or woman you are voting for to be in your home with your children? Do you think they truly respect your spiritual and moral beliefs?

Conclusion: We of the Rednation are nonpolitical, bet we have had many ask us our opinion on the difficulties facing the next US elections. So, all we can say is look to the suggestions above, look to your heart and ask your Ancestors to guide you to what is needed.
