Site Update

Sorry about the delays in the site upgrade folks, we have needed to re-examine the software being used to recode the site. After considerable testing we think we have found something suitable that will fix the issues we had with the menu system and make the site smoother and more functional.

The most difficult part in all of this is the fact that we have to run live, in that we cant really take the site down while rebuilding just in case we hit a glitch like we did… anyways you should begin to see the changes very soon and hope that they improve the experience…

Thanks for all the support and we look forwards to your feedback when RedNation MK III kicks in…

Over the past fifteen years from the inspired inspiritation of RedNation beginning, to the present day good upstanding reputation that has been built within that time. RedNation has had some negative opposition against what we have stood for.
From the wagging of tongues to posting us on fraud pages on the cyber-space internet, but all in all over those years mentioned, we have stuck to what we started out to do. Through the hardships and becoming more mature in the growing process, we have shown and proved our true hearts among all.
The Elders of Indigenous peoples from multi-Nations and Tribes all over the entire world have stepped out and support what we are doing. That purpose is mainly to be a Teaching Nation of preserving knowledge, cultures, arts, crafts, verbal and written history, languages, dance etc, of all human kind so that none will be lost. By finding out we do have to share among other native and non-natives of like minds and hearts. It is the only solution of preserving that history and knowledge of the ones who walked before us, through to the ones who will walk after us and beyond.
So, to the ones that read the negative words and listen to negative wagging of tongues about RedNation and what we stand for.. It is by the choice given to each human being whether to believe or not. By the older ways of teaching, “Assume nothing, go to the source and find the truth listen not to the disgruntled belly aching of disgruntled hearts”.
I personally remember growing up with these words also of wisdom.. “If one does not have opposition from the evil one and his workers throughout one’s life, then one needs to re-think which side one truly stands on”.

Pay Pal Is Now Corrected!

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

There had been a technical problem with Pay Pal in which we have finally got corrected!

If anyone has problems sending in your Registration fee, please inform us.

Some Applicants have emailed us about sending it snail-mail.. Yes you can, it is just getting an International money order and having to pay the International pay rate exchange from where you are to Australia.

The other way to pay for registration, is to donate your fee to a bonfied charity and send your reciept in to the main office to give you credit towards your application.

All is welcomed to choose which method to use..

Time Difference

Dear Brothers and Sisters and Extended Family:

Just a note to remind all of the 16 hours difference ahead going by Central time of the States (before daylight savings time).

Sample of the time difference: 11:00 am Australia time would be 7 pm Central US time.

Also with the time difference, Australia is a day ahead of the US. Our Monday is your Sunday.

For conversion charts for other areas and countries, they are available on the internet, this was just one sample.

Or office is open Monday through Friday 11:00 am -7:00 pm Australian time.

As of our weekend Midnight (this coming Saturday) we go off daylight savings time…

Australia is +10 GMT

We are concidering if enough members are interested, we may open a on line internet store of hats, tee-shirts, bumper stickers, writing pens, frig magnets, calendars etc. with the new logo/seal and the word RedNation upon them.

Please email your vote to: admin@rednation.org if you maybe interested.

Send in sizes needed for tee-shirts with your votes.. Hats will be adjustable base-ball type.

Yearly Support Funds

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

A question was raised with all the changes within the Nation… “Will there be a yearly support fund required of all the enrolled members?”

The answer was decided some time back, that because of the financial difficulties most are having to endure with cost of living and income not matching to balance the two.. RedNation will not require that of its people. It has been totally left up to our individuals and families, if they can send what they can throughout the year to help with their Nation support, the one time registration fee of the ten dollars would be all that is required.

Yes it DOES take monies to keep going, and is nice to have so we can stay up with the electric, internet, phones, office supplies and equipment, printing etc.

With us being a non-profit it is just that.. there is no profit. We do not sit on a big mound of monies coming in, it usually as most know goes right back out for all the above mentioned and then some. Donations are greatly appreciated of any amount..

Would like to interject this most precious story here that just happened recently..

Got a handmade card in the mail from this little boy the other day, it had a seperate letter from his mother, who said with tears in her eyes at the time, she did have to help her son with the spelling and writing because he was only six years old… On the front of it was a picture drawn in crayon, of a full head dressed plains Indian Chief hugging an Australian Aboriginal Chief with full body paint of his Nation.. above the heads in the bubbles of what they were saying to each other was… “We are the same!”, “We are real brothers!” and underneth at the bottom of the card it read.. “Mommy told me, because we are all children of God, that makes us all brothers and sisters!”

Opened the card up and on the inside was three very shiney new pennies, taped very carefully to the card.. written again in crayon it said this… ” One penny is for one of my sisters, one is for one of my brothers there, because they may not have any pennies to give, the other is from me to give to help out.”

Please allow for the fact that postage from Australia DOES takes a little bit longer… Thank-you all for your extreme patience on all this, we assure all that when you see the new cards, the wait was worth it indeed to see such wonderful artwork and meaning. You all will be proud to tell others of your Nation and show your cards without hesitation.

Meaning of the new Logo/Seal

First off, I wish to acknowledge our Beautiful Sister and Very Talented Artist ‘Warrior of the Eastern Star Woman’ for creating our Nations new Seal/Logo. It was so inspired by spirit through her and does speak volumes of truth and meaning of what this Nation stands for.

Although the Native Indigenous did not call them peace pipes, we are proud to call this sacred pipe a pipe of peace. It symbolically represents harmony and peace and the physical and spiritual journey of life.

RedNation, wishes to bring to all Indigenous all over the entire world that harmony and peace. A place where none will be turned away because of the way they look or lack of blood quatum. It has ALWAYS been what is in ones heart and how one lives from day to day. If you walk the road of the Creator, then we welcome you.

RedNation is a “Teaching Nation” of the Physical and Spiritual by Uniting as One People of Same Hearts and Minds in that Journey of Life in preserving Cultures, Knowledge, Languages, Spirituality and Beliefs, Dance, Arts and Crafts and the list goes on and on.

The gentle swirling smoke from the tobacco represents the prayers and worship we send out every day to the Creator of All the Heavenly Father, also called the Great Spirit, the Great Mystery, Yowa and many many other names in other beliefs and tongues.. He, is the one and only from which we ALL was created from.

Tobacco is a representative of speaking with truth from the heart.

The four feathers stands in representation of giving honour (Not Worship) to the four directional spirits, which is also the same as the four Archangels that the Creator assigned to protect the four corners of the world.

The Broken barbed wire represents our freedom of choice that we as human beings are given by our Creator, it also represents universally freedom of mankind from oppression of any kind, that hinders us from individual growth in physical or spiritual development.

The leather strap with two beads represents the two levels of Medicine, Herbal healing and the Spiritual healing.

The other leather strap underneath the bowl/cone of the pipe, represents all things are in connection one with another and returns to the point of origin by the cycle of life itself, The Creator. Then goes down to the beginning of the life cycle (first ring of the leather), on down to the path of our lives (represented by the straight piece of leather)to the next ring, is our Adult life as we take different paths in our walks of life Good or Bad ( represented by the split piece of leather)..Then we return to the Earth Mother in which the Creator formed us from and breathed the breath of life into. Which then the spirits of the one’s before us (The Ancestors) and our loved ones past and present, that are returned back to the Creator by our constant prayers we send up to Him in the sacred smoke.

There has been so much talk about selling ones heritage out by teaching outside one’s own Nation or tribe or to non-native. The reality check is if we do not share and teach one another, all knowledge will be lost as our Elders and wisdom keepers make their journeys from this world.
