Although we are not the first of our kind, to be a full Multi-Native Nation not just a single Nation or tribe we are different in that we have become the extension of the teachings and the Medicine. Our vision is to hold true the stories, to guide the people on the Red Road and most importantly to stand for all those whom by birth were excluded from the "Rolls" and as such are now claimed to not exist. This does not mean that we do not accept those whom are on the rolls, only that we also acknowledge the history, the paths, the stories and cultures of the original five hundred plus nations.
The purpose of forming this International "Intertribal Nation" is to enable the fulfilment of the vision of Floyd Hand. The joining of Nations to form a unified strong nation to carry the people into the future.
The RedNation is an Independent Nation, combined of many Nations and Tribes all over the world.
We are "Original Peoples" who are rolling up their sleeves, and tired of sitting on our back-sides watching people of good-hearted families being pushed aside. Not being given any rights and feeling of belonging, because they have no-way of tracing enough genealogy to be put on the "Federal" tribal rolls, just to be counted among their people.
We all know of the pains-taking efforts it takes to find those fragments of our family's history. Because of lost records, burnt courthouses, Grandmothers-Grandfathers born without birth certificates.
All our people of all Nations and Tribes kept our heritages mainly by verbal history passed down by the families and the Legend Keepers. Any written documentation did not come about until much much later after many generations had already passed.
Others have had to grow up even to present day, with little to absolute no information from their elders or loved ones. This was and is to present day, because of fear or denial of what they truly are, so they and their family could just exist and blend in among everybody that was non-native to try to escape ridicule and prejudicing, and genocide.
