NEW DRESS CODE FOR ALL POW WOW DANCERS, RENDEZVOURERS, RE-ENACTORS WHOM DRESS IN
PEROID DRESS OF THE NATIVE AMERICAN:
A Dress Code that falls under the Laws and guidelines of Indecent Exposure and Disorderly Conduct is being enforced at all events and functions by local Sheriff, County or City Police.
All Pow Wow Dancers, Rendezvourers, Re-Enactors whom dress in period dress of the Native American are longer allowed to wear items called Breech clouts and aprons ALONE without complete body coverage underneath these items, such as spandex shorts or below the knee shorts or full length pants.
Please be aware that the host of such events has full legal authority to remove person or persons from the premises at anytime, from lack of compliance to this dress code can and will be fined and prosecuted.
This has come about because of the new laws to protect the public and children from exhibitionists, and the increase of pedophiles crimes against children and young teenagers across the county and state.
