<>THUNDER BEINGS<>
This is a story as old as Mother Earth Herself, this is how I was told by my Elders
When Earth Mother was so very young, if fact, she had just been born. The Creator of all decided she needed protection from all harm or evil, while He was busy designing and creating the universe and tending to his other fatherly duties. So, He created four brothers, one brother for each of the four directions to watch over her always.
The first one was to be the guardian of the East, he was to not only guard against all evil or harm that could come from his direction, he was in charge making sure the sun awoke and rose everyday. So that all would know where to face the Creator with their thanksgiving prayers, of being granted a new day of life in His service and for His Love for us as His children. He was the bearer of being the herald of the universe, of the Creator judgments on all.
The second brother was the guardian of the South, who protector from all evil or harm from his direction, he was also in charge of the past, present and future.
The third brother was guardian was of the West, his other responsibility besides protecting against all harm and evil from his direction, was to carry the souls at the time of crossing into the world to be born, or to carry them back at the completion of their four life cycles on Earth Mother. Plus he was to make sure that the sun gave rest at the end of the day cycle.
The fourth brother was guardian of the North, this guardian protected against all evil or harm from his direction, as well as the other brothers of theirs. He was in charge of Holy Spirit Itself. Which was and is for all eternity, the Divine Spiritual Inspiration and Purity of All Souls created by the Creator. And to remind all those souls that nothing can ever be hidden from the Creator, Only in truth should all face one another and our Father the Creator of all.
All four Thunder-Being brothers were furious warriors indeed! Specially when angered or in battle! With their wings, they could cause mighty winds none could withstand! Lighting bolts could strike from just a blink of their eyes!
From a strike from either of their outstretched talons, they could rip worlds and universes completely into!
The Creator of all set these four brothers to Eternal vigilance over Mother Earth and all the Children thereof. When called upon by mankind, the Thunderbeings has always helped when needed to battle evil.
The Creator has engaged them three times since mankind came into existence, to have to totally cleanse Earth Mother of the extreme wickedness and disobedience against Him. It is prophesied that there will be one more complete cleansing to be done upon Earth Mother and mankind. This will bring about the last and final annihilation of evil for Eternity, and Earth Mother will be totally renewed along with only the good-hearted obedient children of the Creator. All things as we know them now will be no more, we will be rejoined among all our good ancestors and loved ones who have crossed over before us.
As said before, the other main purposes of these brothers were to generate Love and Harmony, Knowledge and Wisdom, Comfort and Spirituality not to just engage in war or battle.
All Nations and tribes had stories of the Thunderbeings, some seeing them in many forms. Some would see them in Human form, and receive great knowledge and wisdom before they would turn into magnificent birds so bright and shining you could not look upon them but for an instance, and then they would disappear!
Others told stories of getting a glimpse of them or hearing their roars and cries and almost laughter in the sky, during thunder and lighting storms as if playing and competing between each other amongst the heavens.
Elders and young visionaries have told of being given what is called Visions from the Creator, to see a loved one riding upon the back of a winged Thunderbeing to the Spirit World at the time of their crossing.
When the English came among us, and taught us their language and writings, we found out that some beliefs were not so unlike ours in ways. Their version of what we call Thunderbeings, the English people called Arch Angles, which did basically the same things. The belief in the Creator of All and the fourth and final cleansing of evil from Earth and mankind was the same also. This was a good thing, and the reason we accepted the English so easily within our culture. Then it came to an abrupt end when greed and deception entered what once was friendship and brotherhood, which went bitter and sour.
As with all things, they come full circle in the cycle of life, so will this story return to the very beginning.
This time there will be a rebirth like that of Great Phoenix, all good people and Earth Mother will be raised out of the ashes to begin one last time, this time no evil to corrupt and destroy, only the Love and Beauty and Communion meant to be between all His Creation and the Universe for Eternity!
