There has been some eyebrow rising's over our past beginnings and connections to RedNation (of the Cherokee). Yes at one time we were known by that name, but as we have tried to explain our separation from it, we chose to leave it because of differences in beliefs and because the Principle Chief had totally changed his direction of what it was suppose to be for all peoples.
We had tried to complete this separation from him, without people going off and taking things out of context or miss-quoting statements. But as we do know, people normally want to believe the worst no matter what.
"RedNation" is the Spiritual part and life's teachings and preservation of what was. We are dedicated to preserving what is left of cultures and knowledge all over the world, not just Native American.
When the separation took place from that Principle Chief, and the "RedNation" was formed, was not to start up a new branch of Red Nation (of the Cherokee) here in Australia, it was to be completely separated from the politics and ideals of the new road that Chief was headed into.
As any one can see for themselves and (Hopefully Completely Read) that we of "RedNation" do not charge any monies or take applications any longer. We believe knowledge should be freely given and shared so none is lost, and to be a gift to all who seek and want to preserve knowledge in a good way. Plus, we do not ever want to be accused of selling our heritages again.
I will say this, my personal connection to that Chief along with my Native marriage was dissolved years ago from him, and with his trying to take over everything after he was removed from his position as Principle Chief. We here as "RedNation" are in no way shape, form or fashion part of that Chief's branch or organization. He is totally on his own, and has no rights or copyrights previous or to present documentation that concerns RedNation.
Because I was watching that said person Chief, deteriorate and become so unstable and abusive, I no longer wished to be part of his life. So I began arrangements to leave. I did just that through an invitation to come to Australia.
I have tried to do this of RedNation and myself in the old way, and not speak of it in a nasty harmful degrading way. But once again, people will not leave well enough alone putting their own comments of untruths in where they have no idea of what actually took place and why. And just assuming they know all the facts in peoples lives.
I have been extremely happy with my life decision and have no regrets. After seeing and hearing of the many episodes he has gotten into, I am so glad I got away from him when I did years ago.
Neither "RedNation" or myself is now, or never will be connected to what he is doing, and to something that he has made to be so twisted and corrupted, with the help of some of his followers who are just as dishonest as he with people.
Also I wish to add, it has been brought to our attention that there is a website RedNation.net and a group RedNation Inc. Let it be known now, we are not associated with these groups either what-so-ever.
This is all I have to say on this.
